Competitiveness of the market and need for flexibility
Opisto facilitates the exchange of auto spare parts for auto-repair professionals and individuals via its marketplaces Opisto.fr and Opisto.pro. Opisto’s marketplaces provide the general public and auto repair professionals with a catalog of over three million spare auto parts all individually tested and traced. Their business model contributes to the promotion of a more circular and sustainable economy in the automotive industry.
Opisto.pro had 21 500 users in 2020 and over the past three years, the number of users on the platform has increased by 147%. The company is also experiencing a very significant increase of its platforms traffic in 2021. In October 2021, Opisto experienced a new attendance record with 550,000 connections.
From a technical standpoint, Opisto has chosen to turn to a managed cloud environment in order to host, manage, optimise, and ensure the operational maintenance of its platforms and thus activity. This choice, motivated by a strong need for flexibility and agility, also required the support of an infrastructure provider able to meet Opisto's specific challenges.
