BSO is a global telecom infrastructure and connectivity provider specializing in low‑latency networks, financial trading connectivity, long‑haul and metro fiber, cloud and exchange connectivity, subsea routes, and colocation interconnection services.
The role operates at the intersection of strategic procurement, vendor contract management, telecom infrastructure sourcing, and legal & commercial risk structuring. The position works closely with Legal, Finance, Network Engineering, and Operations to ensure all vendor engagements are commercially optimized and contractually robust.
The Role
Strategic Telecom Procurement
• Source dark fiber IRUs, long‑haul and metro fiber routes.
• Procure wavelength capacity (DWDM), IP transit, and backbone connectivity.
• Manage exchange connectivity and financial market routes.
• Source subsea cable capacity and last‑mile circuits.
• Support POP deployments and meet‑me room expansion.
• Develop multi‑carrier sourcing strategies ensuring diversity, latency optimization, and scalability.
Vendor Contract Management
• Own the lifecycle of MSAs, capacity agreements, IRUs, colo agreements, and cross‑connect frameworks.
• Negotiate liability caps, service credits, SLAs, termination rights, and renewal models.
• Ensure contractual alignment with BSO legal standards under CLO supervision.
Commercial Negotiation & Pricing Strategy
• Lead negotiations with global telecom carriers and infrastructure vendors.
• Negotiate NRCs, MRCs, volume discounts, and commit pricing.
• Structure long‑term IRU economics and ramp pricing.
• Benchmark supplier pricing across regions and routes.
• Optimize cross‑connect, installation, and diversity build costs.
Procurement & Cost Governance
• Review supplier cost models and challenge pricing assumptions.
• Lead RFPs and RFQs.
• Manage capacity reservation and build cost pass‑throughs.
• Negotiate early termination and expansion pricing structures.
Technical & SLA Expertise
Network Performance

• Establish KPIs and vendor scorecards.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Manage escalations and remediation plans.
• Monitor service delivery and installation SLAs.
Legal & Risk Coordination
• Negotiate indemnities, insurance, service credits, and LDs.
• Structure force majeure and termination exposure.
• Coordinate closely with Legal on risk allocation.
Supplier Ecosystem Exposure
• Tier‑1 carriers

Skills and Qualifications
• 10–15+ years telecom procurement experience.
• Strong carrier sourcing background.
• Proven contract negotiation track record.
• Low‑latency network experience preferred.
• Native English proficiency mandatory.
