Thomas Lanaute
Thomas Lanaute is BSO’s Head of Sales for Europe and is based in Paris. He joined the company in 2014 and has been leading sales operations across France and the wider region. In this role, he oversees a team of sales executives responsible for growing BSO’s client base and uncovering new opportunities in both established and emerging markets. Thomas has played a key role in transforming client services and expanding BSO’s product portfolio in Europe, building strong relationships with clients at all levels.
Thomas began his career in 1998 at Canon France as an account manager before moving to Cable & Wireless In 1999 as a Key Account Manager and later progressed to Business Development Manager for large accounts. From 2004 to 2012, he was part of the co-founding team at Atrium Network (later TMX Atrium), serving as Sales Manager for Europe. He then joined BT Radianz as Business Development Manager until 2015, when he transitioned to BSO.
With over 18 years of experience in the telecoms and financial services connectivity sectors, Thomas has developed deep expertise in sales, business development, and account management. He holds a Master in Management degree from ISC Business School in Paris. As he describes it: “For me, BSO clearly offers a fresh and unique approach to the industry. It’s what I like to call ‘The BSO DNA’ and is evident by the passion and dedication present in every team around the world.”
Thomas’s professional interests span driving business growth and strategic leadership, with a strong focus on mission-critical infrastructure and global network innovation. He is particularly engaged in ultra-low latency solutions for capital markets, crypto trading, and financial services, while also exploring opportunities in cloud, storage, and managed services. His areas of interest further extend to smart cloud connectivity, artificial intelligence, AI-driven data centres, and the evolving world of GPU and GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS).
